People: Me

Duration: 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm

Tide: Full at about 9

Weather: Had been warm and sunny during the day, turned cloudy but still pleasant.

Bait: Had Rag, Frozen Sand Eel, and Frozen Peeler

Rigs: 1 Clipped down 2 hook Pater, 1 Pulley (size 1 hooks)

Results: 2 Flounder,1 Plaice


Report: Decided to give this a go ahead of next week (Nearly went to Rosslare Pt instead). Plaice was taken on half a sand eel, Flounder to rag tipped with mackeral...

you sly dog!!!! where the fish of any size JD?? what were the conditions like when you fished it?

I'm not being sly about it !! ;)
Sly would be fishing there and not posting! Fish were 22-28 cm or so. I wanted to see how busy the beach is these days, so I could figure out where to peg from (probably near codds point ). Sea was very calm, no surf at all.

How busy was the Beach? I'm sure we'll be ok with the comp being in the evening, but if this weather keeps up you never know :shock:

ah i meant that light heartedly JD!! good to here it'll fish even if there isn't much surf.

Beach is not too busy (by Wexford standards), I reckon 1st peg about 300 meters or so from the rock and we'll be ok- it is a bit further up from where I was..
