you need very very little mate, jumbo hokkais and silver pirks and some heavy line 80lb to 100lb and some hooks 4/0 6/0 8/0
keep it simple, i was sorry i brought too much. i never lost a pirk over there, bring five or six and you laughing and you can buy em there too about two three euros more expensive than here. when the fish are feeding they'll hit anything, but silver pirks took the bigger fish. hope that helps. ill pm you some photos if ya like. gary

had to save there identitys as i can ask there permission to post.
bring some 150-200 gramme lures and light spinning rod if you have one as its a break from hauling three at a time and you get good sport on the light gear, pirk it for cod or cast for coalies

lads,
i've being thinking of going the last two years was all set to bring my dad last year for his 50th but he had to have a bypass done so i'm hoping to get away this summer. How are you booking it are you going through the mags or agents in UK or you trying to book it yourself. I'm looking to book myself the whole way. Can you PM me on the total cost as i will be paying for him also so far it be the two of us will try and get a few more but not many friends of mine like fishing so it be hard to find a few. any info would be great. last year when i looked at booking it myself it cost 600euro all in.
