Advise for fishing around Port Salon over New Year

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise about any good shore marks around the Port Salon area. Pm's would be gladly accepted if you dont want to mention you fav mark here. All fish will be returned :!:

Any tactics, bait and tide states would be fantastic :)
