I noticed that when I heated the side of my ladle, there was a small lead chip on the stone worktop I made for the job. As I was heating the ladle with the torch (no time for the slower hob connection) the small lead chip began to melt......then formed into a sphere.
Anyway, I finished making my ton load of weights and had a look at this little lead ball. Took a Stanley and cut it down the middle.....a lead line shot!
I never use them, but was interesting to see the lead heat up and form a sphere. tried it another couple of times and worked fine, only thing is, if you try it with too much lead, it pools.
