Report: I drove down on Friday 27th and before I dropped home I popped over to the marina. A few cod had been caught, but apparently the night before there had been a nice run with the largest about 6lbs!

Anyway I caught the codling first cast to fresh peeler. I caught an eel at the end. Both fish returned safely, even the eel (see pic). I then left as I plan to see if there are any spare spots in kilmore tomorrow.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
