Report:
Headed out with high hopes today due to the way things had been churned up.Headed for a waterford beach initially .A lovely surf was running but the weed was brutal so decided to hit youghal to save a blank. The water was very brown in colur due to all the rain recently but still managed to catch a few bits and bobs. Not very exciting but at least we got out and saw plenty of countryside as rory can vouch for as he was driving   ,my turn next time to do the driving   .
Hopefully with a small bit of luck i might be posting some decent fishing results soon but i won't be holding my breath.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Morning Rory,
your dead right on the beats work on a monday, but i must admit i was very dissapointed with the results given the surf that was running,it was good to see that the weed fish are'nt been affected by the commercial fishing who knows with a bit of luck we might get a specimum one between us   .By the way did you happen to come across a smelly pair of toastie socks in the jeep as i can't smell them anywhere down here, they should be good for saying hello to you at this stage
Talk soon.
