Re casting technique

#1 Post by Conger »

I have been using a multiplier set up for the last 12 months so i am fairly new to this. When i am casting i have my reel set like a fixed spool up the stock but almost everyone else that i see has the multiplier set low on the rod, am i doing it wrong and do i need to change because i want to get this right, if anyone can help me with this it would be great

Thanks a mill

hello conger, depends on the lenghth of the rod youre using, nearly
all 12ft rods are exclusively built for the reel in the high position,
longer rods 13-14ft give for a better overall balance when the reel
is set low .
