anyone use this model, was maybe going to purchase one, clean beach
work with multiplier and fixed-spool, any info much appreciated

Presuming its the SRE 5M you are on about? Bit heavy and unwieldy but its the bizz for the long traces in close or a bit further. Excellent for belting a bait out too straight as a die with an overhead thump in a tight comp situation. Works well with either multi or FS and bite detection on it is good. Great for keeping your line out of the weed too. Definitely a slot in the bag for a rod like this. I would recommend. It wont tick all the boxes but as I say, it deffo has its place.

the sre 5m top class rod great for distance,
no hassel flicking maddies,no bait loss
great all rounder
the only negative thing is 6oz lead is its max
2009 species= whiting,flounder,dab,codling,bass,dogs,rockling,smooth hound,
