Report: it was the 4th leg of the connaught gold medal - north facing shallow beach - with the southerly in it lots of surf - but it was sracthing for our lives for the day
got 2 turbot early on - one 19.5cm!!!
- but lug tipped with macklads at the end pegs had counters - then it got quiet and even quieter!
lots of undersize fish, turbot and flounder for most
4 counters won it for mick quertin
there was also an undersize brill!
lovely beach and nice countryside despite the results
nice to fish a new spot anyway
