The equal section 2500M was a special called the Gemini, they were made for Nigel Forrest at BreakAway, I had one of thos and would give anything to have one now....fantastic rod. The standard 2500M had an 8' tip with a 5' butt section and as a match rod probably caught more fish than all other rods put together until the plug got pulled on them about 12 years ago.

Has your rod got 1250 written on the label ? if so could you post a photo of the label, it may be a special, Terry has done some funny things in his time and some of the rare rods can be worth a bob or two.
