Looks like JP has a shot at the all Ireland  I'll more than likely miss this one. Pity, I enjoyed the few pints after last year Connaught open.

Galway Bay SAC, Comp, GURTEEN 20th September 17.:00 - 22:00

this is an open competition and is located at the same venue as the Jimmy Smith competition that will be held 2 weeks later.

this is the perfect chance to fish the location in a competition setting prior to the Jimmy Smith

Don't think so but all you will need is mack, sandeel, possibly squid and a few lug if you want to try in close for flats
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

- Just taking names at the moment. Pay on day of comp. Definately none of your cheques.

- 53 22 45.97 N
9 57 09.03 W

- I think from LW up.
