'a plan should always be followed through', but next time we must check the weather forcast
had arranged something of a plan on saturday, to fish one of the days through the week..
got a pm in the late afternoon and a few ideas passed backwards and forwards with the outcome to fish silverstrand in the evening,
brought the pitch fork along as a few lug were about..
first cast ended up with a weedfest, digging a few lug between casts ensured the freshest of bait.. and it paid off with a nice little twitch to the rod tip.. turned out to be a flounder of 32cm.. nicely lip hooked too, quick photo and released for another day and back to fishin... another digging session saw the demise of my pitchfork
the wind started to gradually pick up with a bit of rain thrown in as a dog pee'd on my backpack
no apology from the owner either
as time went on the weed got worse the wind got stronger and the rain heavier..
packed up and headed for the hills.
first time fishing here in a long while, good to see the flatties are biting, pity about the weather, but it will be done again...
