People[/b me and son darragh.

Duration: 2 hours

Tide: rising

Weather: heavy showers

Bait: lug and crab

Rigs: 2 hook flappers

Results: 1 bass




Report: my self and darragh braved the winter like elements in search of a bass and it payed off.

with darragh landing his first ever BASS that weighed in at a hefty 5lb on the nose :lol: :lol: .
i was absolutely thrilled for him as he has been waiting quite a long time for this occasion. talk about smiling like a Cheshire cat :lol: :lol: .
to end the session i missed a serious slack liner 20 yards of line taken in to make contact with nothing :shock: ah well better luck next time.

well done you look like one very happy camper 8) now you can aim at a 10 lber they will be easier now you know what to expect :D i notice you are sitting for the pic ,your first decent one can give you wobbly legs :lol: :lol: bet your heart missed a few beats 8)

Super fish, welldone mate :D :D :D

Got my first bass(well a double shot actually :lol: ) 2 weeks ago, so I know how pleasing it when all that effort pays dividends.

Was out myself last night, not a single bite in 3 1/2 hours....even the crabs were'nt interest....thats gotta be a first :roll:
