PORTRUSH CO ANTRIM 28 JULY

#1 Post by monkey »

people:me

duration:20.00 to 22.00

tide:in the middle

weather:class

bait:mack and sandeel

rigs:2 and 3 hook scratching

results:1 dogfish 2 pollock

report:sneaked out for a couple of hours. Great weather and with a couple of charter boats close to the shore it looked good. Had a few early bites which stripped the bait. Thought it was a doggie and right enough i soon managed to hook it. A wee while later the line went slack and as i reeled in seemed like another doggie. Was well pleased when it turned out to be a double shot of pollock one about 2lbs the other 1.5lbs.
