Re: Pyrmaid Leads
As always Tom, there's cunning tactics behind this one. But I'll certainly not be posting the results in the reports forum, I don't want a certain Mr. Rampent Wreckfish to find out before our little "Last Man Standing" eventRockhopper wrote:

I am sure all will be revealed in the reports forum one day soon

whats the advantage of these boys - is it a concession on the grippers so you dont spook the ray, but still have a bit of hold?
catch and release!

i use these lads quite a bit now.. they do seem to hold bottom better than grip leads especially when there is a lot of movement in the water, like estuaries or bay areas where there is a flow of water during the tide.corbyeire wrote:whats the advantage of these boys - is it a concession on the grippers so you dont spook the ray, but still have a bit of hold?
have used a 4oz pyramid where a 5oz grip wouldn't hold.. the only downside to them is, because they have a flat head, they create alot of drag in the water and its slightly harder to retrieve them as they act in the same way as diving lures..
well worth a try though..
