People - Myself and Phil

[b]Duration - about 4 hours

[b]Tide
: Rising

Weather: Nice with light Westerly

Bait: Rag, crab, lures

Rigs: 2 hook rigs

Results: Mackeral, Dab, Doggies, Bass

Report: Got an offer to head for a few hours fishing in the harbour. All of my fishing is shore based so it was a nice change although I don't really have the right gear for it. Anyway, we started out towards the mouth of the harbour where there were a few other boats...nothing on the ground baits but plenty of mackerel. Moved in around buoy 6 after and then near Camden where we were getting bites every cast, mostly doggies though. Picked up the spinning gear just as the light was fading and had a bass before we called it a night...an enjoyable evening and I don't think we did to bad for a couple of amateur boat anglers....looking forward to the next outing...off to the buy and sell section now to see if there are any boat reels for sale

Nice one Rory,

Nothing like a successful session to whet the appetite for more.
