East Wexford Beach,June 29 2008

#1 Post by jd »

People:Al,Eric G and me..

Duration: 5.30 or so to 11

Tide: In

Weather: Westerly ,pleasant sunshine, no rain

Bait:Crab,sandeel, rag,lug

Rigs: Flappers loop rigs, clip downs, pulleys

Results: Bass, smooth hound(common & starry), dogs,flounder,dabs

Report:
I'll let the lads add their own tuppence worth, but there were plenty of dogs around especially once we hit dusk. I caugt the bass early close in to lug on a flappers. The smut hit a large crab bait on a pennel pulley, flattening my tripod as it did so.
