Best of luck to the lads. The big Danny is shaping up to be the premier event of 2008. Ireland are sending 2 teams to compete. It will be a 150g & 125g even.

Our First Team is looking very strong, so hopefully they will all get the lead sailing away early and hopefully place.

The lads should be practicing shortly, today is the practice day.

Hi Gents got back this morning had a superb weekend, extremely well run event and a pleasure to meet all the casters who attended. Crack was mighty and sure the casting was a bonus! 100 casters = approx 300 rods and reels in one big field :shock: Heaven :D

Top Team Spot went to France, who were excellent over the 2 days.

Top Individual was guess who! Big Danny gave his usual exhibition, a pleasure to see as always!

Our very own A Gormley was in the prizes too!! Le Great wanging Larry

Loads of pics and video which we'll put up over the next few days.

Both teams done very well and it was an honour to cast at such an event with an Irish top on!! :D :D
