wicklow harbour

What size weights would I need to fish out of wicklow harbour?

I'm fishing next weekend so the tides should by well back.

Any info appreciated.

hows it goin i will be fishing wicklow next sat also, leads will vary depending on strenght on the day of the tide, i would recomend 6oz for slack tide and upto a pound at the hight of the tide ,

will be fishing the wicklow bay sea angling open myself and u would want up to a pound when the tide is racing.

Is the Ground hard on gear?

the ground shouldnt be hard on gear, you should be mainly on sand / mud with a little bit of ruogh trown in for bull huss ground.
