People:myself

Duration:5-7

Tide:full in

Weather:calm with drizzle

Bait: jensens and surface poppers

Rigs:

Results: 1 flounder

Report: with perfect bassing weather outside the window i decided to try my luck at whiterock. after a brisk 15 minute walk with 'moon safari' in my ears i arrived and straight away tossed a yozuri popper into the area, after and hour the only highlight was the sight of small sea trouts leaping out of the water. the weed was pretty unbearable too so i decided to move towards the tea rooms to try for a pollock, casted out a jensen towards the reef but the was nothing doing here either, so i took a break, spotted a few porpoises and diving gulls in the bay, surely a good sign, and casted out again, just before i was about to lift the lure out of the water i got nailed by what i thought must have been a schoolie, the fish put up a spirited scrap on light gear, and sure enough a 32cm flounder was beached, first ever on a spinner, very happy man

:D Great stuff, it's always a bonus when you catch something by surprise like that.
