The Flood

Strong Westerly very warm

Mack

Pulley Pennels 5/0

Thornie 5lbs, Flounder

Decided to head out to a mark close by after work. Arrived after a monumental walk to find the place infested with weed :x !! We decided to give it a few casts and as it got closer to high tide the weed slackened off. After i had hauled in a huge clump of weed I was ripping it all off the line when Sean said look  a nice 5lb thornie and i couldnt tell cause of the weed :x Anyway thats fishing il have a pic soon.

Why does that never happen to me :(

Ah well, well done anyway, not a bad result by the sounds of it with the struggle against the weed.

Looking forward to the photo

Thats after I removed the 20lbs of weed on the line. I got some shock when I saw the thornie had taken the mack.
