Thornie 5lbs, Flounder

Decided to head out to a mark close by after work. Arrived after a monumental walk to find the place infested with weed

!! We decided to give it a few casts and as it got closer to high tide the weed slackened off. After i had hauled in a huge clump of weed I was ripping it all off the line when Sean said look

a nice 5lb thornie and i couldnt tell cause of the weed

Anyway thats fishing il have a pic soon.

Ah well, well done anyway, not a bad result by the sounds of it with the struggle against the weed.

Nice clump of weed your holding there, the east coast weed we get looks nothing like that

Thats after I removed the 20lbs of weed on the line. I got some shock when I saw the thornie had taken the mack.
