Dollymount beginner, Help.

I have just taken up sea fishing - haven't tried since I was a boy- and have been down to Dollymount two or three time to brush up on casting. Am I wasting my time at Dollymount - its my nearest beach. I would appreciate any tips on bait and any info on good spots around Dublin

try the beach just to the left of the statue. use worm baits and cast short. good spot, particularly in may. fish low tide up for best catches.
