Report: I decided to go for a romantic Sunday evening stroll with my fiance and kill two birds with the one stone by bringing my spinning gear. Although I blanked it was well worth the trip.

It's rough ground alright. I've only ever landed pollock a pound in weight or below.

east pier has some cracking pollock up to double figures back in the day, plenty of 5+about during the summer months
