People: On my own

Duration: 2pm until 11.45pm

Tide: I think high was at 12 midnight

Weather: Overcast with a bit of sun. Cold northerly breeze

Bait: Fresh rag, fresh lug, fresh peeler crab

Rigs: Standard 2 hook paternoster with size 3/0 hooks. Later changed to one hook rig, size 4/0.

Results: Blank.

Report: I must admit it was a long day. I wouldn't have stayed on the beach alone at night. There were a few friendly souls around to keep me feeling safe. I had one or two strong rattles during daylight. As darkness fell I had about three or four strong rattles but I failed to connect with anything. I'll be back!
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Hi Ya John,

Fished here myself early saturday morning, had about 15 dogs & a bass about 3lb, missed a few decent bites myself, most probably bass as the dogs were mangling anything & everything.
