Well i think I got my engine sorted...dont ask but now my VHF radio and gps are not working  ....I have tested the vhf with hand helds but no sucess.....with the probs I have with this boat it would be unwise to go out without a VHF :P ...but dont get me wrong when she is right i love her and she's mine 8)...anyone know any marine electric guys round the Meath / Dublin Area?...I know the probs are easy fix,s just the hastle.....was comtemplating getting some hand helds but dont want to waste whats already set up!

i don't know anybody that i could recommend. Basically owning a boat is
a constant battle against corrosion and the marine environment. The reason
i think you are better off trying to fix things yourself is that if something goes wrong
miles from land, you have a chance to fix it if you know how everything works.

did both gps and vhf stop working at the same time? are they getting power?
