Had my first on Jan 10th from a mark near Kinsale and havent had a proper session at that mark since but they were showing in numbers there at this time last year.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial
No reports yet. You could grab some now if you were are on the right mark that happened to be fishing and this will change year to year and if anyone knows pm me first
Crabs peeling end of april start of may brings the ray in on the Limerick marks. Out further in the Estuary they come in earlier.

Now to add some fish:Cukoo,Ballan,Pollock,Coalie,Pouting,Conger, poor cod....mm needs more fish.. Mackerel, Dogie, Mullet Flounder...poor year so far....
ya defo especially with the weather getting better, theres a place close to shannon called rineanna creek, good for flounder but i never fished it, donagh could help you with this one. Other than that youd have to travel to the far side of the fergus estuary to get the ray, huss conger etc..
It would be to late to fish the creek as the flounder would have left. The marks the other side of the Fergus would be worth a shot especially the deep water ones but I can`t recommend one as I haven`t fished them a whole lot. I`ve seen good and but alot of poor returns in comps in carrigaholt and poulnasharry over the years in march April but it very much depends on weather and where your pegged.

How far would you be talking to the far side of fergus, trying to work out should I fly from Dublin or take the 6 hr drive down with my gear.
from shannon you go to clarecastle, just south of ennis, which would take half hour then another half hour to say the most popular marks like new quay or the white gate, have a look at the marks section on the site and google earth
