I bought it!
I bought this rod!
My first multiplier rod, now paired with a Daiwa SL20SH. The rod is great and is totally different to the Shakespear Contender outfit I bought as my first rod.
Fished out at Barry in South Wales, which was supposed to be a sure mark for cod. I caught a small cod dressed up in a whiting suit, but the rod performed well on the new reel I bought in the Barry Angling Centre.
Fished off the Split Rock near Howth last weekend, no fish. Moved to the Telegraph Cable pole the other side of the Bailey Lighthouse, no fish!
Still love the rod though!!
