Thinking about fishing the long pier this weekend, just wondered if anyone had tried it lately.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Hi Ian,
I haven't fished the pier for years! Any thoughts on what you might expect?

I know there's pollack in season, might be too early at the moment. Should be some flatties on the clean sand and maybe a chance of codling in the rough??

I guess really, I'm not expecting much, if anything. But if I don't go, I don't know!
