Hey Man,
I have the same trouble myself when I am looking for extra power, especially if I am rotating the body more. To correct it I normally try to slow the cast down a bit and concentrate on the hit.

Have found that casting left is normally when I turn and look straight and not up when hitting the cast.

Yip not looking up sounds like the cause. When you start to come round stare up in the air, not out to sea where the lead is going! Head not being up is making them go left.
