Cormorant eats Pike...!!

Get a copy of today's sun, good pic of a Cormorant swallowing a pike in it.
Ye wouldnt think the bird could tackle a fish that size but apparently so..!


On a sad note There is also a pic of a whale and her calf after being harpooned by a Japanese trawler for "research" purposes. We just wont learn until there is nothing left in the sea. Anyone for a limpet..?


Anyway, back to dreaming about warmer months and hungry Bass...!

seen the picture of the minky whale and what the japs said was not her calf in the Irish daily mail.
as if that made it any easier

absolutely sick and they have the cheek to say it is for research
they plan to kill 1000 minky and finn in the southern ocean this year alone.

Of course it was hers and even if it wasnt why did they take a calf.
A calf that size would not be weaned anyway so the liklihood of it being alone is slim.
