Spoke to JD and Petekd about booking into a hotel for this comp. My thinking on it would to try and block in to a hotel where we would get a better rate.
Business up that way would not be great this time of the year and they might be willing to cut their prices if they thought they were getting a good number of people staying for a night or two.

I rang the Lake of Shadows, they told me there accomodation is closed until April...... :? They have a sister hotel, just outside the town, (5 minutes walk or so) and I am waiting on their accomodation manager to get back to me with a group rate. Looking at accomodation for around 20 and sure it can be adjusted after that.

Nightclub will still be there mate..... :D Oh, and the sister hotel usually has something on as well so we wont be stuck. Failing that, theres always gatecrashing weddings and the like to consider....... :wink: :lol:
