I am seriously considering taking up golf as a hobbie after another day fishing and another blank that now makes 4 trips including a competition and not even a bite :(

Nige
Get Jakes in Galway City SAC to show you Little Killary and you should get plenty of fish there from now on, from off no more than a 50 metre lob cast.
Off to fish a few new marks on northern Belmullet on Sunday, in an easterly which as anyone will tell you is the kiss of death for fishing!!!
We all have bad days... but it still beats working

Well Nige,
Dont give up yet. I dont think friday was anygood anywhere from the shore on the west cost or at least by the estury.
I fished tarbert for a few hours on friday evening without even a bite. I got talking to a couple of lads that fished by the lighthouse all day without anything. I also know that nothing was caught in poulnasherry on friday afternoon. I am not sure why but maybe it has something to do with the really high tides!
