there has been a new irish record blackmouth dogfish caught.it also equells the british record 2lb 13oz.the fish was caught some time in early jan by hamish currie aboard his own boat predator11 i.

n the channel in very deep water

Correct me if I’m wrong Barry but the Irish Record for BMD is vacant. It was only added to the list from this year. If so the record will not be filled until November 30. Hamish has caught a possible Irish Record… The target weight has now been set for the other guys targeting them!!!

hi jim the isfc have included bmd onto the specimen list weight 1kg hamish has already recorded another speci men off the boat.but as he says he has had over 100 of them over the years and never seen one this size as they average 1.5-1.75lb
