Casting while standing in the water

#1 Post by Irish_Shamrock »

I've been reading about a few marks where you have to wade out quite a distance before casting, to get out to the fish.

How are you supposed to cast a decent sized bait if you are up to your waist in water? Won't it be lying on the bed under 2/3 feet of water?

Surely the force of you pulling it up to cast it out will destroy your well presented bait, and take a lot of the sting out of your cast also?

I assume that u use an off the ground cast? For casting from the sea try a pendulam cast with a shortened dropper.
