Duration :1-6pm
Tide :high around 4(ish)
Weather :miserable... wet wet windy and wet
Bait :mack and squid
Rigs :various
Results :1 dogfish, 1 dab
Report :
a long day with hardly any fish... nige sneekly pulled out a doggie and it wasnt looking good for me.. then i lost a bite
time to pack up and it looked like a blank for me.. the shame of losing to nige... pulled in the first zzippy.. nothing
pulled in the profile...'oh.. there is a little resistance to this one'... saved from a blank with this little fella..

Who said anything about Galway/Salthill?
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

ok,
are ye interested in trying an unknown mark about 26 miles from Galway.
I've had an interesting summer there, between pollock, ray (Thornback, smooth), wrasse up to 5lbs, etc. Even the odd JD turn up.
My shore skills are not the best, i'm more of a boat person.
