Tide:high tide at around 3 i think
Weather:breezy and mildish
Bait:razor,mackerel and lugworm
Rigs:3 hook flappers
Results:41 fish, 11 of which where counters, 3 beard rockling,5 beard rockling, whiting, short spined sea scorpion and flounder made up the catch
Report: having never fished bray beach before i wasn't too hopeful of catching anything never mind doing ok
decided to give distance a shot , trying to get my rig as close to the rivers outpour as possible hoping for a cod or two, i launched my rig as far as i could get it and needless to say i didn't make the 400 or so yard mark needed i landed a couple of undersized whiting on that cast, that was enough to ensure i stayed in close all day. as darkness fell i heard of a few decent flounders being caught so out went a few lug and macks into the suds, straight away i hooked my little flounder and got him measured in at a whopping 22cm.
the last few hours in darkness began a whiting onslaught with at least doubles coming in every cast
P.S sorry i didn't get any more pics but i got to busy
