At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Hi all, just after polishing off more turkey,I'll have to be surgically removed from the seat now.Just wondering is it possible for a mortal to take the levelwind off this reel or would getting a conversion kit be a better option.
I'm kind of a disaster when it comes to bits and bobs and I'm aprehensive about stripping the levelwind off as its a beautiful reel and if I do take it off does the bar need to go back on without the levelwind, please can someone help as my old 6500 has just packed up after a misadventure, these reels just can't handle excess weed in a heavy surf as I now know.
All the best,
marlin man.

What do you mean can it fly?
Of course it can fly I saw it flying into the bin about 2 hrs ago.Although I must admit I haven't seen it buzzing around since then, hope that answers you're question!By the way it looks like the bass have flown off for a short break down this way,but glad to hear there are a few that missed the flight down you're way.
To reiterate any helpful advice on the levelwind conversion for my not flying anymore rocket would be grateful .
