the silva eat batteries i have one and my two mates have too one is broke already stay clear to dear for that.grauvell do a cheaper alternative :twisted:

Well my Princetontec Apex Pro arrived from the states, think it was 45 euro delivered, it looks good, I haven't had it out on a session yet, but the variable powers look good and it also looks like the main spot beam packs a punch.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.

i have a lenser headlightwith luxeon led, light small and very bright in fact its only drawback is it could do with a smaller less powefull led for baiting up this would extend the battery life 20 hours on 3 aaa rechargables not bad for something you forget you have on your head

Yeah, the ledlenser lights are good. Just don't submerge it in the sea for a long time like I did with my headfire duplex :oops: mine turned out not to be waterproof ...
