Mussels how best to use them

Hi lads
Whats the best way to use mussels and how do you keep them on the hook.

shell them , pile them on a baiting needle and whip them with bait elastic into the shape of a sausage ,then just cut them into big enough baits for your hook/hooks.!!!cheers john

i rig them the same way as beachcaster said,and usually tip them off with a strip of mac; or squid.

get a bendable piece of wire, bend it into a V-shape. put your mussel between the V and press down, then wrap it in cotton.
