unhooking weevers

after seeing a few weevers in catch reports and hearing of someone being stung, whats the safest way to unhook a weever?

possibly try not to catch one. Try size 8/0 Hokkai and you'll be safe lol. If they still get you try to be careful and (optionally for safety) get a leather glove on.

be confident,loose hands will only slip into unwanted places. hold the fish by the lip and youl be fine.
