i thought about it being a bass story donagh but surely there would need to be proof to get in the books

Steve,

I was doubting the specimen fish committees report more the fella you meet on the pier or tackle shop about 10 pound bass been caught in such and such a place last week. Though I do know in pike angling there are claims that the venue where claims are made isn't always the place the fish came.
