Second Hand Tackle

#1 Post by blaker »

Hi all.
Looking to buy a multiplier but my budget is tighter than Argentina's. Is there anybody out there who is/knows someone who is looking to offload a solid shore reel is reasonable nick? Cheers.

BTW Mark Gannon in Courtmacsherry has put up a grand if someone beats the conger record. Surely its one of the more achievable of them all (71 pounds).
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

A grand?
Is this only from Courtmac or anywhere around the coast?

howyis guys.
I live in Dublin but am up and down to cork every second week so anywhere along that line is sweet.
The 1000 quid is for fish off his 2 boats only but Curtmac is one of the more likely spots for it to go anyway. There was a big one (nearly 60lbs) taken very recently and hes going to put some focu on conger this season.

One more thing. Whats the deal with the Ron Thompson line of stuff. I've heard good things about his waders etc but not so much on the rod/reel front.

Blakey,

I've heard the RT rods are good. Don't know about the reels.
