Well done to all the fellow club members who performed so well at the weekend. Donal Domeney, Outstanding result mate for someone who thinks scratching is what Cork men do to their arse . Well done Pete and Seanie too, great to see 3 fellow club members from SAI making the top 10 in the premier shore comp, fantastic achievement. Unlucky Paul and I believe JP also on the blank on the last session. Nothing wrong with 28th after a blank session in your first masters. Hard lines lads but sure theres always next year.

Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

Congrats Mr. Domeny on the third place
, you fished very well in what were difficult conditions. Congrats to Dr Spock Ivory too, fair play buddy(you'll have to take Tracey our for a meal now
) Fairplay Gitboy on the second place, great achievement on your first masters. Unlucky JP on the last day, you deserved to be in the top ten. Was really tough going on that last session on Streedagh, not many fish around and hard to actually get any that were to make the 20cm, had three undersize including a 10cm brill before a 21cm turbot saved the bacon.
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

Congrats to S.A.I sac where I'm learning this scratching thing. Only once over the 3 comps did I put out a lead beyond 50yds not bad going for a fellow who always went distance. Had a plan and stayed with it.
Well done to all the lads on the site. This was one hard session.
