8 Joeys tonite out of dlaoire .Thought the settled weather might have them back .Had a good few 2 weeks ago proper size but they had hardly any blood when I filleted them .Anoyone seen anaemic mack before ? I never have .

37 joeys put of poolbeg yesterday no decent sized macks in the past few sessions

Had a lot of big mackerel west of the Maharees today (West of Gurrig Island. 10 different species today between 2 of us.

Seem to be all gone in Donegal Bay. Not one all day from killybegs to near mullaghmore.

i was out fishing on a boat yesterday, we were targeting mr mackeral in the south west region of kerry, as there were reports of mackeral caught in the general area a week or two previously and so off we went in hope, happy days as we had a30 or so mackeral on feathers, i wonder if this is the latest in the year they have been caught, can anybody assist?

I believe they were being caught in dunmore east up until late december last year. Well done on getting a few.

A few dozen mackerel caught in Cork Harbour last Sunday (28th Dec) during the Home Nations Boat Team Fundraiser.
