Report:
Plans were hatched & after meticulous planning the lads came down on Saturday to fill their boots with bass & hounds.
Myself, Dennis & Eric got to our first mark early on Saturday morning and began fishing. We sent the co-ords onto Stevie but the lads had to make a few pitstops

on the way down!!
The fishing was promising to start with with me & Dennis both loosing bass before Eric got a little one. The tide was pushing us off the mark when the lads had arrived so we moved to mark no. 2, again the tide was rising fast so we had a couple of hours fishing an estuarine mark where we all had a few flounders, some good ones too 35cm +. At least there were a few hours during the day before the nightime bounty!
We took a break to grab food during the Lions match and refreshed headed back up the east coast to try for the hounds. We hit Tinnebearna, flat conditions & clear water, hopes were high of a few hounds. It soon became apparent though there were no flats in the gutter (very strange) & not too many Dogs at distance as all we had to show for about 12 rods was a dog for me & one for dbrock.
This was the case for the rest of the night and even when darkness arrived the lack of fish was astounding. We left at twelve, really dissapointed for the lads who had made all the effort to come down spent money on bait and enough supplies to keep an army going for a month.
Tip for the top Stevie - in future contact Danny M
