I had fair share of them recently I've tried 2 night's this week, nothing mackerel, squid, pollock and even scad have taken the week off at least, bottom fishing has been very entertaining recently, with a good spread of species

Planning a final sojourn to Ballycotton pier Sunday morning to catch high tide (and a few mackerel with it hopefully), am I wasting my time given the recent weather?

Fished there twice this week and not a single mackerel to be has the water is like soup but who knows that can change bottom fishing is producing whiting still decent size

About 1 1/2 km off the point of renville,oranmore on the kayak before the storm teeming with good size macks not sure if theyre still there or not

Heard off macks neing caught in kinvarra this morning plenty in renville,oranmore and the uncle had a 2lb 3oz mack from newquay during the week

Y'know, it's 2015. Someone really should start a "Shore Mackerel Reports '15 here..." thread and I could stickyfy it.....
