HAPPY NEW YEAR NEIL!! yep man,, headlight is still going strong and serving him well :P :P i forgot to ask you how long do you charge it for to get a full charge into the battery?? i've just been giving it 6 hours as i was afraid of overcharging it    this will be a bit of a lean month for us on the fishing front as i'm still a bit skint from christmas and the car is due it's MOT next month   . but we'll be back down the east coast soon enough :P :P i'm still trying to hunt down 2 sakuma sea measure for us both, but they have stopped making the bloody things :x . but i'm sure if i keep on the ball with it i'll come across 2 soon enough. need to get them before the summer mini munchers descend on our harbour and pier marks    the national federation of sea angler's minimum retention sizes on them were great. speak soon man :D

Sorry to hear the fishing didn't work out as hoped for. But you did well to get a few bass before the weather turned too cold.
Amazing that Dingle Harbour froze over

Pity I didn't know you were coming to Cork on the 1st - we could have met up as I was fishing that day.
You will have to make a return visit later in the year and we can see if we can get you a few bass.

Hi Al mate, well have you thawed out yet after our trip?!
I've never fished in such cold temperatures before and hopefully I never will again!
It was a pity about the weather but it was still nice to be away with you's. We certainly made a right dent in the food and drink we brought down anyway!
It was great that Jordan got his first bass for the year and his new PB flounder, as well as you getting your bass, good on the two of ya's!
Thanks for the birthday cake and card as well, that was so kind of you.
As promised I have put on for you the picture of your bass that you caught on the first night, that was taken on my camera, well done mate :D
Thanks again for coming down with us. It was a good laugh, espicially Jordan trying to scare the life out of me when watching Paranormal Activity!
