im gonna have to get me a fishing camera
to think of the number of photo ops ive missed over the years

sigh

here is good picture.this is a picture of bartra island off killala co.mayo.the island was set a light in april 2010 to for regrow whicjh is done apperently 20-30 years or wateva.there was a lot of speculation concerning the wild life but it was all dealt with and examined before been lit by wild life and enviroment experts.wat an amazing pic and not too often u get to see this.

the pic was taken off the top of the harbour in killala by a friend of mine.

also this fine cod of just over 10lb got by a lad fishing beside me in youghal janauray just gone we there was plenty of fish caught but this was the high light

Im looking for a fishing camera. I love the gopro cameras but really all I want is a fishing camera. Im looking for a good resolution camera which is nice and compact like gopro. Anyone have any ideas?

No fish in the photo, but my favourite fishing pic. Taken at the end of a fantastic day flyfishing for sea trout in the Erne Estuary, Ballyshannon. As we were coming back in I looked back and saw the sunset reflected on the still water and took a quick snap (with a disposable!). Every time I see it it reminds me of a great day's fishing. Now have it printed on 40x30in canvas and hung in my living room
