I have Snowbee chest waders and they are the business. The boot section is good in that they are heavily protected and they are decent for breathability but they are heavy. Highly recommend them for fishing. I wear good old wellies for casting in wet grass, local guy in wexford has sets for around €15 with okay grips but I'd say the Snowbee wellies might be better for hiking up and down fields. Hard to say until you feel how heavy they are on...... Golf shoes, back from hospital yesterday after operation for cartlidge repair number 5, 3 of which a direct result of wearing golf shoes (last one within 6 sessions I had done damage)even with soft spikes but then again I am a dogdy kneed old banger anyway. I could go into selling powerpoint bloody crutches at this point. Crutch casting might be a novelty event.
