Myself and a mate fished the wall yesterday, fished the going tide and then 3 hours of the coming...
Had 3 tiny coddling, 5 nice sized whiting and 2 dogs, had lots of pin whiting as well, baits weren't lasting 5 minutes even whole squid was being stripped bare.
There's still Shoals of Brit there so maybe the cod are high in water feeding on them, just a thought......defo not worth the time or bait anyway....

Fished the wall this morning for two hours from low water up, nothing but pin whiting.
What was more depressing was the fact that it is the second week in November and I was the only angler there, a sad reflection on the fish stocks.
Youghal tomorrow, hope things will be better there.

it is not a Twaite shad it is an Allis shad note dark spot behind the gill cover and sometimes a row of up to six spots behind this.

Lads any improvement in Youghal or East Cork?
If there isn't I may have to venture outside of my comfort zone and go to Waterford over Christmas
